IQAC Action Plan for The Academic Year 2016-2017
- Monitoring effective implementation of Action Plan-2015-2016
- Conducted an Orientation Programme to the first year students
- Conducted National seminar by Economics department sponsored by UGC
- Students feedback on Lecturers has taken every month and analyzed.
- Swatch Bharat Programme has been organized.
- Extra-Curricular activities like Yuvatharangam, Academic Festival, National Education day, Rangoli Competitions organized.
- Conducted Faculty Forum once in every month and updated the knowledge
- Introduced six certificate courses
- Arranging a meeting with Class representatives regularly.
- Encouraging the staff to impart the latest developments by attending the Faculty Development Programmes.
- Encouraging the students for active participation in co curricular & extracurricular activities in off campus competitions
- Conducted the programme on career planning, counseling and campus placements for the final year students.
- Conducted Inter college tournament at university level by Physical education Department.
- Conducted Unit tests and Pre final exams as per the plan.
- Conducted one Special Camp by National Service Scheme.
- Conducted remedial coaching classes to the slow learners.
- NSS volunteers participated at District level camps and got appreciations for their excellent contributions
- All the Departments got MOUs with several organizations.
- Conducted Alumni meeting and parents meeting.

- Collected API and AADPI from teaching staff and the Principal
IQAC Action Plan for The Academic Year 2016-2017
- To conduct Orientation Programme to first year students.
- To encourage the staff to start more add on and certificate courses.
- To assign study projects to bright students from each subject.
- To encourage the staff to apply for Minor Research Projects, National Seminars.
- To conduct 3 unit tests, 2 term exams and one pre-final examination to analyze the students academic standards and to provide required suggestions.
- To conduct student seminars, & quiz programmes at least one for each class in each subject per month and, Assignments at least one per each month.
- To continue remedial coaching to slow learners.
- To observe important days and to celebrate them.
- To conduct Blood grouping test to first year students.
- To encourage the students to participate in extra-curricular activities.
- To take feedback from students on every month.
- To motivate NSS Programme officer to conduct two special camps.
- To encourage the students to present papers in the seminars conducted in other colleges.
- To conduct Alumni meeting, parents meeting and academic festival (Yuvatarangam).
- To encourage staff to participate in faculty forum at college level.
- To arrange field trips to students.
- To encourage staff, to participate in inter university faculty forum.
- To motivate the Teaching faculty to publish research papers and to get admission in to Ph.D programme.
- To purchase latest books and equipment as per new syllabus and also subscribe new journals for the Library.
- To collect API and AADPI from teaching staff and the Principal.
- To make more MOUs with several organizations for the benefit of students and other stake holders
