Education plays a key role in the overall development of the individual as well as the society. Education is a holistic process. The true goal of education is not mere awarding degree and certificate to the students. As Mahatma Gandhi said, "By Education I mean an all round drawing out of the best in child and man-body, mind and spirit". The ultimate goal of education is the integrated personality development of student. It should be noted that knowledge is not given but earned and character is not granted but cultivated.
GDC, Srisailam Project not only focuses on the theoretical curriculum but also help in the development of students` holistic personality through extra-curricular activities and over all perspective. Everything that makes a good institution are - a highly qualified and experienced faculty, good library, ambient atmosphere, caring and concern, placement division, new teaching methods, liberty to think and express themselves - we have it here. The objective of higher education in rural area is associated with employment. With this intension, the higher education department has designed policies and introduced various Life Skill and Skill Development Courses to mould the attitude and inculcate human, professional, moral and ethical values.
I firmly believe that our GDC, Srisailam Project is more than just a place to learn. It gives you a chance to grow by equipping with everything you need to achieve excellence. In this college, every member of faculty strives for the well being of the student through dedication and commitment.
